Charges for Wedding Photography
Michael Gradwell Photography offers top quality photographic coverage
and excellent value for money. In 2007 Michael commissioned a
professional company to check that he offers the best value for money
in Lancashire. We are sure that you will find his prices competitive,

New for 2010 - Michael's lowest prices just came down.
The 2008 prices were held at the same level for 2009.
For the remainder of 2009, and for weddings in 2010 if they are ordered in 2009,
the price of the bronze package has gone down. This is because for one
wedding he had a request for no prints which makes it a lot cheaper
for him and he can pass this saving on to you. You will receive a
CD-Rom and you print just what you want for your friends and family,
for your album or for your walls. Perhaps you want a canvas print.
Well you can get one printed at any time.
All packages include Michael
Gradwell photographic services for a pre-wedding meeting and unlimited photo
time on the wedding day. Generally photos are taken from early preparations to
the "artificial" cutting of the cake, but Michael will take photos of the first
dance. The day is based on your requirements. Michael added "if I am chosen as
the photographer then the main benefit to the bride and groom is my time. I
look at every photo and crop and sharpen them. I use techniques like blur and
vignette. I make some prints sepia and others black and white. You can tell my
favourite photos because you will receive two or three variations of the same
photo".
Free bonus with any of the packages.
Ask to see one of the 'thank you' cards that Michael received. It is a piece of card with a photo on the front and a photo on the back. It is simple, cheap (the photos are free) and effective. Michael will supply these photos at no extra charge - just ask.
Bronze Package. price £389
You have the copyright and you receive a CD-Rom of all the photos. You also receive a guaranteed 100 to 150 photos on the CD-Rom but the final number depends on the opportunities for taking the photos. Very often the final number is over 200. You may even receive over 300 photos and there are times when Michael has handed over more than 400 photos! The photos are routinely cropped to 6" x 4".
Silver Package. price £449
You get everything in the Bronze Package. You will receive all the 6" x 4" photos on the CD-Rom. In addition to this all the photos will be printed out and protected in slip-in albums.
Gold Package price £549
You get everything in the Silver Package. You will receive all the 6" x 4" photos and a CD-Rom with all the photos cropped to 6" x 4". You will also receive a CD-Rom with 8"x 6" photos because this package includes a top-quality DVD. The standard TV size has an 8" x 6" format so you get the extra CD-Rom. On the DVD your photos will be edited and set against a background of classical guitar music. However if you have your own non-copyright music then this could be on the DVD. The final say on photos in the DVD is yours. Michael will put together a provisional DVD. You then tell Michael which photos you like, which should be taken out, and which photos you want to add (from all the photos that you have received). You then receive three copies of the DVD made to your order. This is the recommended package. You receive two CD-Roms, one with photos 6"x4" and one with 8"x6" photos, you get the 6"x 4" prints and you get DVDs for yourselves and both sets of parents.
Platinum Package price £749
You get everything in the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages and you also get a CD-Rom of 10" x 8" photos. You will also receive 24 10" x 8" photos of your choosing in an Elizabethan Countess album. You may prefer two 7" x 5" photos per page or any combination of one large or two small prints per page.
Just need photographs?
While we can produce an album for you, we find that most customers actually prefer the control over what goes into which album, which comes from buying the album separately from the photographs. With that in mind, we can recommend the services of Spicer Hallfield who offer a huge range of albums, more than we could hope to stock, and their prices are reasonable.
Of course we can still provide an album, for those who prefer an all-inclusive service from your wedding photographer. If you want that, just choose the platinum package from the list above.
Or want something extra-special? price £1,499
Graphistudio also offer a huge range of albums, and these are beautifully laid out with the photographs printed directly onto the page. Follow the link to their site to get an idea of the quality of the finished product (though it has to be seen in reality to be fully appreciated). We can provide our usual high quality photography service, and also commission a Graphistudio album to your specification. This can be laid out in any of their styles, with any cover, debossed name, and slipcase. This main album will be a 40-page book with 25cm x 35cm pages containing up to 70 photographs. There will also be two Graphistudio 13cm x 10cm parent books (with dust jacket covers), also 40 pages and containing the same images as the main album.
Of course you also get all your photos on CD, and you will retain the copyright of all images, just like in the other packages.
